We regularly meet with clients and partners to design and develop solutions to most entrance matting problems, be it to reduce costs for installations, or design better more durable trim solutions, or to provide solutions to allow larger matting walk off areas for reduced costs.
Not only do we supply the best solution for the site, but we can maintain the products as well, ensuring that the matting systems always perform as designed. This also ensures manufacturer's warrantees are adhered to.
Since 2003, when the gripfit® systems started to be developed, we have noticed the increasing needs for property owners and managers to increase the size of matting at the entrances to sites, and in other circulation areas. From the typical 1 metre of matting to a more beneficial 3.6 metres of matting.
Commonly mat wells needed to be dug out to achieve this, but it would cause significant planning and business disruption, but also be a high cost to the building owner. By designing the gripfit systems to be surface mounted it cuts down on all 3 factors significantly therefore providing greater short term and long term benefits to the user.
More importantly with the increase of insurance claims being made on property owners from slips and trips, there needed to be a quicker cheaper alternative to reduce the risks.
With the increasing costs of management solutions we aim to offer a complete "one stop shop" solution, either directly with us or through an approved business partner.
gripfit® systems are supplied, installed and maintained by gripfit approved Companies. We operate a continual quality assessment program for installations and maintenance contracts to ensure gripfit systems are correctly specified, supplied and maintained.
This ensures that products retain warrantees for the duration of the contract and that matting systems perform to the highest standards.
All gripfit® systems are designed to conform to all health & safety requirements and can help to reduce the concerns of risk from slips and trips at entrances, circulation areas, and other areas susceptible to moisture ingress.
The systems can significantly reduce moisture ingress into buildings where the floors become slippery when wet, therefore reducing risks from slip accidents and possible claims.
Claims against slips and trips are constantly rising and gripfit® systems have been designed to combat the causes of claims, with our systems reducing common related accidents by up to 100% in high traffic sites.
All of the processes involved with the manufacture, delivery and ongoing maintenance of the gripfit® systems have been designed to produce less environmental impact as the products chosen are designed to last long periods between cleans, and yet function as required.
gripfit® system matting require less maintenance visits to site than traditional matting solutions and subsequently a reduction in carbon emissions.
